What Scopeva discovers
Enter a sitemap URL directly or start from a site. Scopeva parses sitemap indexes and URL sets, follows child sitemap references within safety limits and reports malformed XML or unsupported roots.
- Sitemap index and URL set type
- Discovered child sitemaps and URL totals
- Sample URLs and lastmod distribution
02
Reviewing coverage
A sitemap should contain canonical, indexable URLs that return successful responses. Compare the samples with your site's navigation and templates to find missing sections, duplicate variants or obsolete pages.
A lastmod value is useful only when it reflects a meaningful page update. Automatically setting every URL to today's date can make the signal unreliable.
03
Traversal limits
Scopeva bounds downloads, redirects and parsed entries so a public diagnostic cannot become an unbounded crawler. Large sites receive representative summaries rather than a full enterprise crawl.
