Structured Data Validator documentation
The Structured Data Validator extracts JSON-LD from a public page or accepts pasted data, then checks syntax and common entity fields without rewriting the source.

URL and paste modes
URL mode requests the public HTML and extracts application/ld+json scripts. Paste mode analyzes JSON-LD locally and is appropriate for drafts, examples or private work that should not be fetched from a server.
02
Understanding validation results
Syntax errors mean the JSON cannot be parsed. Other findings describe missing context, types or common properties that may reduce how clearly consumers understand the entity.
Passing Scopeva's checks does not guarantee a search feature. Search engines apply product-specific eligibility, content and quality policies in addition to schema syntax.
- Confirm @context and @type
- Match structured claims to visible page content
- Use canonical absolute URLs for referenced entities
03
Verify with the consuming platform
After fixing the source, test the deployed URL with the validator provided by the search engine or platform you target. Re-fetch the page to make sure templates, escaping and deployment transforms preserve the JSON-LD.
